Results

The training was successful for colleagues from various areas of Škoda Auto a.s. (PSZ, PSI-P, PSW-T, PF2-K, PFO-P, PF1-M, GQK, GQF).

Solution description

As part of the transfer of know-how in the field of camera inspections, an expert training course on Vision system VS and its setup software VS Creator took place on 26th February in cooperation with colleagues from Škoda FabLab and Keyence. This training focused on VS cameras and the technology connected to them, beginning with special optical zooming technology ZoomTrax, through Edge AI tools, all the way to working with variables in Vision Dashboard.

The event was divided into blocks of theoretical and hands-on training, where everyone got a chance to solve a task using the provided camera hardware and software to simulate problem-solving in real production.

Overall 12 colleagues from different departments of Škoda Auto took part and aquired theoretical and hands-on experience they can use with future installations of camera systems.

Benefits and Details

  • Transfer of know-how in the field of camera inspections
  • Chance to train more trainees by the combination of correct space, HW and SW and experts in camera training
