Project's goal

Organization of a practical workshop on the topic of camera inspections with the ATEsystem company for various interest groups of innovators across Škoda Auto a.s.

Results

The workshop was successfully conducted for trendsetters, Digital Car Control System team, and the last group of employees consisted of colleagues who signed up directly.

Solution description

On August 1, 2024, Škoda Auto employees were introduced to the world of machine vision, including the latest trends in this field. Colleagues from ATEsystem had prepared practical demonstrations, showcasing their use in various projects, and of course, there were opportunities to consult on different individual project ideas.


The interactive workshop featured demonstrative examples from the world of industrial cameras, special lenses, lighting, and machine vision systems. ATEsystem collaborates with global manufacturers of machine vision components, including companies such as Basler, Jai, SVS-Vistek, Kowa, Theia, Opto Engineering, CCS, Effilux, and many others. 

A total of 35 colleagues from various areas of Škoda Auto participated in the workshop, gaining valuable experiences, inspirational examples from different plants, and contacts for potential assistance with solutions.
