Project's goal

FabLab Day (in previous years Predictive Maintenance Day) is organized annually by PSZ – Central Technical Service, where it introduces colleagues from other maintenance and other departments to the most interesting projects and trends in the field of machine and equipment maintenance.

Results

FabLab Day was successfully realized, and after the introductory block of visits by representatives of the management of individual Px areas, the event was attended by 74 participants from various departments of the company.

Solution description

On March 22, 2024, FabLab Day took place, thanks to which Škoda Auto employees had the opportunity to walk through this unique place and immerse themselves in the current projects of this workplace through presentations and DEMO appplications. This year's tours took place in 60-minute slots, which employees could log in via Škoda Booking application. The selected topics for this year were camera inspections using elements of artificial intelligence, a demonstration of the Implementation Arena of the Magic Eye project of the Predictive Maintenance department, activities in the field of 5G/LoraWAN, Tribodiagnostics with the introduction of innovations in the field of HFC liquid measurement, Vibrodiagnostics and the expansion of the portfolio with IRIS M Motion Amplification technology, and finally the presentation of the IT Lab, which was successfully implemented in cooperation between the Central Technical Service and the Shoopfloor IT department.
