Project's goal

Introduction of Škoda FabLab (PSZ - Central Technical Service) and familiarization of colleagues from other Škoda Auto departments with selected projects and trends in the field of maintenance of machines and machinery.

Results

Škoda FabLab represented PS – Brand Management area and in cooperation with the PF – Car Production, presented activities on the topic of Computer Vision and Iris M – Motion Amplification Technology to more than 3 500 physical and 10 000 online visitors to InnoDay 2024 at its stand.

Solution description

On 12 and 13 June 2024, InnoDay 2024 took place in Škoda Museum, thanks to which Škoda Auto employees have had the opportunity to attend the company's largest event every year since 2018 to present successful innovative projects, promote an innovative corporate culture and strengthen the innovative mindset of employees. This year's InnoDay was the most complex event for the GSC team so far: 32 Marketplace stands, 28 lectures, 100 test drives. In total, the event was visited by over 3,500 visitors, who gave the event an average rating of 4.7/5. And the board of directors even 5/5. Selected topics presented by representatives from FabLab for this year were camera controls using elements of artificial intelligence and IRIS M Motion Amplification technology.
