A special mobile diagnostics kit created, containing the accelerometer, vibrodiagnostics, temperature meter and power supply status monitoring.

Description of solution 

The Škoda FabLab must always respond to the problems of car production machinery as quickly as possible. Therefore, we decided to develop a new measurement and diagnostic device. We succeeded in doing it and produced a device called the Mobile Diagnostics Kit. The new measurement device enables us to read the acceleration of the moving parts of machinery (accelerometer), from which it can be deduced how the machine in question behaves. A very good example of the accelerometer is a lifting device, with which we can read the acceleration in all four corners of the lifting platform, and so monitor the stress made on the the jack guides. Vibro-diagnostics, temperature meter and power supply status monitoring are integrated in the device as well. These methods can all be used at the same time, providing clear information to the maintenance on what is happening with the machine.
