Implementation of a new technology for diagnostics of machinery.
Results
The IRIS M camera from a company RDI has been included in the measurement portfolio. This measurement is offered by the central technical service as a service in Škoda Auto. Thanks to this technology, we are able to provide important information for technical diagnostics in industrial environments and other technical areas. Where the results are interpreted by use of image recording.
Solution description
As part of the central technical service, the camera is used to detect, locate and specify failures on machinery. The results of the measurements are very informative thanks to the camera recording and a special function that can multiply vibrations and thus visualize them.
Benefits and Details
- Visual inspection: Thanks to the high resolution and sensitivity of the IRIS M vision system, it can be used for visual inspection of mechanical components, electrical equipment, detection of weak points in structures and other technical deficiencies. This enables the detection of visual defects and malfunctions.
- Quality Control: In industrial environments, the IRIS M camera can be used to check the quality of products and processes. Detection of defects, flaws, or inconsistencies by use of advanced image processing can significantly contribute to production quality improvement.
